Common Questions

How do I export iPhone photo metadata to Excel?

Open the app, select the photos or album you want to process, choose which EXIF fields to include, then tap "Create Excel" to generate the .xlsx file. The file is then shareable via the standard iOS share sheet.

Do you store my photos?

No. Photo Metadata Exporter processes your images for metadata export entirely on your iPhone. We do not store your photos or metadata on any server.

My iCloud photos won't export — what should I do?

Ensure your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi and signed into iCloud. The app will trigger an iCloud download of any photo whose full data isn't on the device. Keep the app open during this process — it can take a few minutes for large batches.
