Common Questions
How do I create an export?
Choose the last 30 days, an album, or a manual selection. Review the preview, pick a template or custom fields, choose XLSX or CSV and any package options, then start the export. The completed file can be shared with the standard iOS share sheet.
Do you store my photos?
Photo2XL does not upload photos or exported spreadsheet data to its servers. The app processes those files on-device. If a selected original is stored only in iCloud Photos, iOS may download it over the network first.
My iCloud photos won't export — what should I do?
Confirm that the photo is visible in Apple Photos, the device is signed into iCloud, and a stable network is available. Keep Photo2XL open during the export. If some source downloads fail, use the retry action after checking the connection.
What does the SHA-256 manifest mean?
manifest.json records hashes and export details for files in the generated package. It can reveal a later change to one of those files, but it does not authenticate the source photo, establish chain of custody, or guarantee legal admissibility.
How do I restore Photo2XL Pro?
Open the Pro screen and choose Restore Purchases while signed into the Apple Account used for the purchase. Photo2XL Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase, not a subscription. If Apple does not return the purchase, include the displayed error when contacting support.
Why is a metadata cell empty?
Photo2XL exports values available from the selected source. A cell remains empty when a photo lacks that field or iOS cannot expose it. The preview and completed summary show missing-value information so you can review the output.
