Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains the separate data practices of the Photo2XL iOS app ("the App") and the photo2xl.com marketing website ("the Website"). Website analytics do not mean that the App uploads your Photos library or export files.

2. Photos and Exported Data in the App

Photo2XL accesses photos you select or authorize through Apple's Photos framework. Photo selection, metadata extraction, spreadsheet generation, clean-copy generation, hashing, and ZIP assembly happen on your device. Photo2XL does not upload your photos or exported spreadsheet data to Photo2XL-operated servers, and the App does not require an account.

When a selected original is stored only in iCloud Photos, iOS may use the network to download source data before Photo2XL can read it. That transfer is provided by Apple through iCloud Photos and is distinct from an upload to Photo2XL.

3. Local App Data

The App stores only what is needed to provide its local features, including:

• Export settings, selected field order, templates, and package options in local app storage.
• Export-history records and generated files in the App's local container until you delete them or remove the App.
• The free-sample state and purchase-related state in local protected storage so eligibility can persist across reinstalls where supported by iOS.

You can delete an individual export or clear local export history from the App. Files already shared to another app, cloud drive, recipient, or service are controlled by that destination and must be deleted there separately.

4. Purchases

Photo2XL Pro purchases and restores use Apple's StoreKit and the App Store. Apple processes the transaction under Apple's privacy policy and account terms. Photo2XL receives entitlement information needed to unlock Pro; the App does not receive your full payment-card details.

5. App Tracking and Advertising

The App does not use your photos, metadata, or exported files for advertising tracking. It does not include a Photo2XL account or Photo2XL-operated behavioral analytics service. Apple's App Store may provide aggregated store, sales, and usage reports under Apple's own terms.

6. Website Analytics

The Website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and improve its content. Google Analytics may process page URLs, referrers, browser and device information, interaction events, cookies or similar identifiers, and IP-derived approximate location. This Website activity is separate from Photo2XL app photo processing and is not combined by us with photo content or exported spreadsheet data.

You can use browser privacy controls or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Review Google's privacy policy for Google's handling practices.

7. Sharing and Retention

We do not sell your App photo content or exported spreadsheet data. The App shares a generated file only when you choose a destination through iOS. The recipient or service you select applies its own privacy and retention terms.

Website analytics retention is governed by our Google Analytics configuration and Google's systems. We may also retain support emails and the information you choose to include long enough to answer your request, maintain support records, and meet legal obligations.

8. Your Choices

• Limit or change Photo2XL's Photos access in iOS Settings.
• Exclude sensitive metadata fields, such as GPS, from a spreadsheet.
• Create supported privacy-clean image copies that remove location and sensitive camera, date and author metadata.
• Delete local export files and history in Photo2XL.
• Use browser controls or Google's opt-out tool for Website analytics.
• Contact us about a support message or Website privacy request.

9. Children and International Processing

Photo2XL is not directed to children under 13. Website analytics and support services may process data in countries other than your own under the service providers' applicable safeguards. The App itself does not upload Photos-library content or exported spreadsheet data to Photo2XL servers.
